Background:

Mr. Hitchcock has portrayed Lincoln at numerous Civil War Re-enactments in New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Florida, including the 125th anniversary of the closing of the Confederate Prison in Elmira, NY. He was interviewed as Lincoln on a weekly radio program for about 20 weeks. He has presented Lincoln's humor and history to many classrooms, most recently in the historical portion of the Arts Outreach Program during the Civil War weekend in Mercersburg, PA. He also holds the distinction of being the first member of Association of Lincoln Presenters. His wife, Mary, joins him on occasion as Mary Todd Lincoln.
