| Background: John Kendall has performed as Mr. Lincoln in Southern California for the past twelve years. He portrays a warm and humorous Lincoln who tells of both his failures and his successes as he struggles to preserve the Union through the fiery trial of America’s Civil War. Both children and adults are often amazed at the losses and failures that preceded Mr. Lincoln’s rise to the White House and prepared him for the great burdens he had to carry in order to be successful. “If I can help the audience to appreciate this great man and leave them with a desire to learn more, then I will have been successful. |
