Background:

Born in 1948, Fritz has been acting since 1975.  He graduated in 1970 from Concordia Senior College in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  His educational background prepared him to be a Lutheran minister, although he did not finish seminary. Some postgraduate work was done at UCLA and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.  He went into landscaping. In 1976 he was asked to take the role of Lincoln for a local Bicentennial celebration and by 1980 had left landscaping and taken up acting full-time.  The Lincoln role dominates his activities.  He has portrayed Lincoln in 36 states and has been invited to six foreign countries.  He has appeared on national television, many opera houses and theaters including Ford’s Theater, and in thousands of schools, churches, and assorted festivals, libraries, National Parks, Civil War Reenactments, and conventions over the years.  6’4” tall, 185 lbs. 15 ½ x 34 shirt, w 35” c 40”.  Clothing is made from a pattern I made from the suit Lincoln wore the night he was shot.  Hat is beaver.
