From the Cradle to the Theater - first person overview of Mr. Lincoln's life from birth to that fateful night. The Courtship and Marriage of the Lincolns - a first person presentation by Fred and wife Bonnie of the joys and sadness of the Lincoln's relationship. Fred and Bonnie will present variations of the above themes to suit the client's desires.

Background:

Fred and Bonnie Priebe have been presenting the Lincolns to schools and groups of all types and sizes since 1996. They vary their program to suit the audience and the situation. They always present in the 'first person'. They will present together or individually. They emphasize Lincoln's honesty, integrity, patriotism, duty to one's country and faith in God.

The Priebes are listed in the current Touring Arts Directory of the Michigan Humanities Council.

Their Lincoln travels have taken Fred and/or Bonnie all over the Midwest and parts of eastern United States. A recent presentation was to a standing room only crowd at the Gerald R. Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Fred presents the 16th President as part of the 'Democracy on the Green' project at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. Internationally, they have presented Lincoln in Australia, Canada, England and France.

Fred and Bonnie have been educators in public and private schools for over 30 years.

Recent awards received by the Priebes include the Best Abe-Mary Team for 2001 and the Best Mary Todd Lincoln for 2001.
