Repertoire: Has been portraying Lincoln since 1995. Speaking in character/1st person with uncanny look-a-like physical, i.e, height, weight, whiskers resembling the 16th President. Recites Gettysburg Address and portions of other speeches. Can present "History Alive" from birth thru Presidency. Presents history lessons in school, etc. Does Re-enactments
Schedule: Is available by appointment/scheduling throughout the year.

Background:

Began presenting in 1995. Has appeared in over 200 schools in the past 3 years along with several Re-enactments and Heritage Events. Has appeared on NBC Today Show on July 2, 1999.

Was featured on C-SPAN in Program "American Writers" reciting Gettysburg Address twice in 2 hour segment. Joined the Association of Lincoln Presenters in 1995. Appeared with Lincoln Group on Comedy Central May 4, 2002

Participated in ceremony "Of the Unveiling of the design for the new penny. Jim unveiled the design 'Formative Years in Indiana' on September 22, 2008 in front of the Lincoln Memorial .

Guest Speaking at Many clubs, organizations along with a 25-minute speech on the floor at the assembly of the West Virginia House of Delegates and a year later for the West Virginia Senate.

Jim and His Wife Edna, have 3 children & 7 grandchildren.

Jim retired from the Profession of Clinical Social Work in 1995.

In Kentucky Look-A-Like Contest, Jim placed 1st in the years of 2002, and 2005. He placed 2nd in the years of 1999 and 2001.
