Ms. Bartley has performed
hundreds of times for civic organizations, educational institutions,
libraries and special events.
She was a Chatuaquan (historical characters presented by The Kentucky
Humanities Council) for three years with her
character setting yearly records for the highest number of performances.
Today, she enjoys booking and performing an
updated and entertaining Mrs. Lincoln herself, while sharing the story of
such an historically significant First Lady!
BIO:
Angela
Bartley
is a dancer, actress, singer, pilot and trumpeter. She earned a full music
scholarship to the University of Louisville, and gained local notoriety
playing "The Call to the Post" for the Kentucky Derby Museum. She teaches
dance, trumpet and flight instruction. Additionally, Angela is a
top-selling, independent artist in the state of Kentucky. Her CDs include
the Sounds Kentucky and
Goodnite Kisses: Lullabies from around the
World. Angela acts in national TV commercials and performs
historical character portrayals featuring record setting portrayals of
"Rosie the Riveter" and a young, "Mary Todd Lincoln." |
