Fun facts: Born in Glasgow, KY about 40 miles from Lincoln's birthplace. Born at home in a little frame tenet house. Attended a one room school 1st through 6th grade, which was named Sinking Springs, I assume after Lincoln's birthplace farm. I am a little taller than Lincoln but weigh about what he di at the end of his life. My rural upbringing was similar to Lincoln in that my father was a carpenter and a full-time farmer. I slept in a straw stuffed bed (not much, thank goodness) and a feather bed until I was in my teen years.
